add support for kvm balloon in ganeti
A patch against the devel-4.2 branch of ganeti was implemented to support the balloon memory driver KVM.
free software and copyright course (part 2/2)
A release of a Free Software and copyright course (one day, 6 hours) for the benefit of April was completed.
reworking the cardstories interface
The interface was reworked and a new development cycle started and is available online. The version 1.0.5 was published in Debian GNU/Linux and announced on freshmeat.
testing the packaging-farm command
The version 2.0.4 of the packaging-farm was published with tests for the packaging-farm command.
polling for chat and list of connected players
A backward incompatible change was introduced in the poll method to support chat and online players notification. The client was upgraded to the new protocol. The stable-1.0 branch was created to maintain the 1.x series.
packaging-farm 2.0.3
The version 2.0.3 of packaging-farm was published including bug fixes for meta packages. The repository for packaging-farm was converted from mercurial to git and tiddlwiki replaced with trac.
documented plugin example
An example plugin was implemented with extensive documentation. Additional mails were added to the notification system, for voting and picking. A few bugs were fixed and the release number of cardstories bumped to 1.0.5 with adaptations to run on Fedora14.
free software and copyright course (part 1/2)
A first draf of a Free Software and copyright course (one day, 6 hours) for the benefit of April is prepared with dzslides. The pages visited to gather up to date information was saved using scrapbook.
biopp packaging
The biopp repository was updated with the latest versions from git and uploaded to Debian GNU/Linux for inclusion. The 2.0.1 version of packaging farm includes a submission script implementing the biopp conventions.
bug fixes, integration and authentication
An infinite loop was fixed in the notification system. A number of minor CSS integration details were implemented. The architecture of a django based authentication was discussed.
