cardstories Debian GNU/Linux package

The version 1.0.3 of cardstories was published in Debian GNU/Linux and made available in the local repositories. Translations and proofreading patches were included.

installation instructions translation

A translation and proofreading effort coordinated by Christian Perrier proposed an improved description of cardstories:

Description: multiplayer online card guessing game
This package provides a server for a networked guessing game using
picture cards. One player (the "author") creates the game by choosing
a card, picking a word or a sentence to describe it, and sending out
 invitations to others to participate.
 .
Each of these players receives seven cards and has to pick
one that best matches the author's description.
 .
Once enough players have chosen a card, the author displays all chosen
cards and the players try to figure out which one is the author's.
 .
If at least one but not all of them guesses correctly, the author
wins, along with the players who guessed correctly. Otherwise, the
 guessers all win.

and translated the installation instructions in Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese, Russian and Swedish.

renaming the package

A discussion on the section of the package and its name led to renaming it from python-cardstories to cardstories and changing the section from python to game. As a consequence the package must be manualy verified and will sit in the NEW queue until it happens.

OpenSSL support

The OpenSSL support was dropped because of a problem in the python-openssl support. It should not be too much of an inconvenience at this point because the security model of cardstories is non existent at the moment.
